Cemetery:
St. James is responsible for the maintenance of historic Wood's
Cemetery
located on Bank Street at Athans Avenue.
A Cemetery Service will be held on June 14, 2009
at 3PM. In the event of rain, the service will take place
at the church.

The third edition of the history
book has now been completed and is available from St. James for $50.00 plus
shipping. The book has 428 pages and contains numerous photographs, many in
colour, as well as maps and several charts. Although the focus is on the church
and cemetery, relevent community history is also included. There is also a wealth
of genealogical information with hundreds of early Gloucester baptism, marriage
and burial records listed. The book explains who were the founding families,
when the church was built, discusses the significance of the 1853 founding date
and why so little is known about the church's early history.
